About the work

Materiality and physicality before any discourse or interpretation being made, the way it seduces and the inevitable contemplation to which the body is required, constitute the demand in my current artistic practice.

The objects are created through a process of experimentation and composition of textures, gestures and colour. Materials such as plastic, fabric, wax or wool, and gestures of cutting, joining, overlapping, scratching, baking, sewing or pouring explore the sensuality of matter and seduction as an aesthetic value. The tactile is exalted in an attempt to be recovered.

For me, the virtual and technological world both multi-tasking and dispersed, and mainly obsessed with the production of things, forgets the pleasure of the sensorial-tactile aspect of the objects and landscapes
